What remains a dream for car-producers is reality for Silent-Yachts now. For the first time a trip from Spain to Florida, including an Atlantic crossing of about 5,500 nautical miles in 38 days, was accomplished with a purely electric-powered production yacht. The Solarwave 64 was close to 100% sourced by the power of the sun, which is why SILENT Yachts are often called the “Tesla of the sea”. On rare occasions a generator gave some support. Due to the energy system the catamaran is nearly self-sufficient, silent and emission-free, offering a whole new scale in reliability and luxury.
